Shelter Blast Hatches
Overview
Shelter blast hatches are important part of shelter protection means designed to protect the emergency entrance / exit of the shelter from destructive effects of the blast wave. Atmas offers a wide selection of hatches designed to meet various national civil defence and international protection standards as well as customized solutions to meet customer unique requirements.
We offer metal, concrete, composite and combined hatches, singe or double leaf for retrofit or casting in concrete with side (vertical installation) or top opening (horizontal installation) which are designed to protect from different threats like explosions, splinters and ballistic threats, fire and more. Some of the doors are equipped with rubber seal to provide gas tightness and protection against penetration of harmful gases.

ATM SL-1 / SL-1S Shelter Hatches (Outward Opening)
ATM SL-1 and SL-1S shelter blast hatches are designed to meet Finnish shelter S1 norms. SL-1 hatches designed for opening outwards (towards blast wave dirrection).

ATM HS-1 / HS-1S Shelter Blast Hatch (Inward Opening)
ATM HS-1 and HS-1S shelter blast hatches are designed to meet Finnish shelter S1 norms. HS-1 hatches designed for opening inwards (with blast wave direction).

SU-III-INW Shelter Blast Hatch (Inward Opening)
SU-III INW shelter blast hatches are designed to meet CEE shelter norms and designed for 440 kPa (4.4 bar) blast wave pressure with opening inwards (with the blast wave direction).

SU-IVR Shelter Blast Hatch (Outward opening)
SU-IVR shelter hatches are designed for >100 (1 bar) blast pressure according to existing technical norms for civil defence shelters.

SU-III Shelter Blast Hatch (Outward opening)
SU-III shelter hatches are designed for >440 kPa (4.4 bar) blast pressure (outward opening) according to existing technical norms for civil defence shelters.

SU-I Shelter Blast Hatch (Outward opening)
SU-I shelter hatches are designed for >900 kPa (9 bar) blast pressure (outward opening) according to existing technical norms for civil defence shelters.
