Atmas sliding blast-resistant gates are heavy-duty protective gates designed to protect large entrances, vehicle access points and other openings against blast pressure, explosions and other project-specific threats. The gates are suitable for civil defence shelters, bunkers, critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, military and government sites, ammunition and hazardous-material storage facilities, and other highly protected structures.
The gates use a reinforced sliding leaf and heavy-duty rail mechanism, providing an effective solution for large protected openings where hinged gates are impractical or where available operating space requires a sliding configuration. Each gate can be engineered according to the required dimensions, blast loads, structural conditions and protection level.
Depending on project requirements, Atmas sliding blast gates can incorporate gas-tight sealing, ballistic protection, forced-entry resistance, fire resistance and additional protective features. Manual and motorized operating systems are available for both new construction and retrofit projects.
