AFU CO2 6000L - Carbon Dioxide Filter (modular)

The AFU CO2 6000L filter is intended to scrub Carbon Dioxide (CO2) from the air with capacity up to 6000 liters with optional parallel connection of 2 filters for up to 12000 liters and 3 filters for up to 18000 liters).

The AFU CO2 6000L filter is designed to fit into the ARC CO2 6000L scrubber but can also fit into other existing systems (please verify measurements).

Spare filters should be kept sealed, and the used filter can be easily replaced in seconds. 

In closed spaces, and definitely in a shelter in close-up mode, with no\little fresh air supply, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) will gradually build up to dangerous levels. 

CO2 can become a “silent killer”, as you are not affected immediately. A person may feel a little headache or dizziness, later on he may faint, and death cases only happen after long hours (but if the person is unconscious, he cannot stop this process).

The AFU CO2 4800L filter has capacity up to 4800 liters of CO2.

An average “resting” person produce 20-30 litters of CO2 per hour.

To calculate the how many filters you will need, you should multiply: (number of persons) X (>20 litres) X (number of hours).

The volume of the closed space should also be considered to ensure sufficient recirculation of the air and prevent “CO2 pockets” in the room.
