Gastight Air Duct
Ducting consists of air piping required for connection of components like different valves, blowers, and filters, differentical pressure guages etc. in batteries of unique combinations. The ducting is modular and can be assembled on site as per the requirements of the building. Arconik provides consultation for planning the ducting by positioning of all the equipment required to be installed in the protected space.
Wall Sleeves and Retrofit Flanges
Wall sleeves are specially designed pipes with flanges which can be used to install valves or ducting to the walls. Arconik supplies variety of sleeves specially designed as per applications (internal walls/external walls) and approved as per different standards ranging from 4″ diameter to 32” diameter accomodating different thicknesses of walls. The wall sleeves are commonly installed at the early stage of rebaring and the concrete is casted on to make them a rigid and strong part of the wall.
Protected Wall Passage for Cables and Hoses
MCTs are used to safe passage of cables and hoses into the blast protected and gastight shelter, by achieving sealing for round passages using wall sleeves or diamond cutters.
MCTs are available in following sizes: 2”, 3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 8”
The MCT can perform sealing before or after threading the cables and pipes, as the MCTs are opened for the purpose of inserting the cables.
