Every shelter is different. Before selecting an equipment package, consider these five key questions:

How many people will the shelter protect, and for how long?
The number of occupants and expected duration of stay determine ventilation capacity, CBRN filtration, water storage, sanitation, power requirements and other life-support systems. -
What threats should the shelter protect against?
CBRN hazards, blast and fragments, ballistic threats, radioactive fallout, fire and smoke, forced entry, EMP and other risks require different protection systems and equipment. -
Is it a new shelter, prefabricated shelter or conversion of an existing space?

CBRN Filtration & Ventilation Units
Provides filtered outside air, maintains positive pressure inside the protected space and supports safe occupancy during CBRN emergencies. Systems can be selected according to shelter volume, number of occupants and required protection level.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Scrubbers
CO₂ scrubbers remove carbon dioxide that accumulates from occupants breathing when a shelter operates in fully closed or isolated mode, helping maintain safe air conditions without relying on outside air.
Blast Valves, Airflow Control & Gastight Ductwork
Blast and overpressure valves protect shelter ventilation openings against blast-wave pressure and help maintain the required internal overpressure, while gastight shut-off valves allow ventilation systems to be isolated when necessary. Gastight and blast-rated ductwork, wall sleeves, flanges and sealed penetrations help maintain the integrity of the shelter’s protective envelope where ventilation, cables and other services pass through the structure.
Shelter Blast & Gastight Doors
Protective shelter doors provide resistance against blast pressure while maintaining the gastight protective envelope required for CBRN protection. Different configurations can also provide ballistic, forced-entry, fire and other protection.
