HS / SL - Shelter Blast Hatches

Overview

A family of blast rated and gastight hatches which designed both for installation in Finnish type civil defence shelters or other types of protected structures. The hatches designed according to Finnish standard requirement and can be also customized to fit specific requirements.

Finnish type standard and custom made shelter doors and hatches
The doors and hatches are heavy duty with single plate leaf structure for high pressure loads
Standard hatch sizes: 600x800, 700x1200 mm and other
Can be equipped with special frame allowing retrofitting the hatch in existing structural openings or on pre installed frames.

HS-1 Shelter Hatch (Inward Opening)

Blast resistance: 200 kN/m2 (2 bar)
Leaf: single metal plate 20 / 30mm
Installation options: casting / retrofit, right/left
Standard wall thickness: 300mm
Locking mechanism: 2x bolts
Equipped with seal for gas tightness

SL-1 Shelter Hatch (Outward Opening)

Blast resistance: 400 kN/m2 (4 bar)
Leaf: single metal plate 20mm
Installation options: casting / retrofit, right/left
Standard wall thickness: 300mm
Locking mechanism: lever with locking points
Equipped with seal for gas tightness

SL-2 Shelter Hatch (Outward Opening)

Blast resistance: 400 kN/m2 (4 bar)
Leaf: single metal plate 30mm
Installation options: casting / retrofit, right/left
Standard wall thickness: 400mm
Locking mechanism: lever with locking points
Equipped with seal for gas tightness
